The Foil Assist Set AL includes the following items:

eMast AL Set

Built from lightweight aluminum and measuring 84 cm, the eMast AL is incredibly stiff and provides a direct feel.

The motor pod is fully integrated into the mast and positioned slightly behind the leading edge, 17 cm below the top plate, to minimize drag even during touchdowns. It features a two-blade folding propeller that reduces drag for effortless glide on the wave. Thanks to the integrated gear system, the propeller unfolds instantly, providing a smooth transition as you kick out of the wave and power back out.

The eMast mounts to your board just like a conventional foil mast.

A fuselage adapter is required to mount a fuselage onto the eMast. In addition to the Duotone adapter, we offer ten other options to help you combine the Foil Assist with your existing foil setup. The adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.

For optimal battery performance, pair the eMast with a front wing of at least 900 cm² and a board with a minimum volume of 35 L.

eHarness Set

The Foil Assist is powered by two compact batteries housed in a waterproof box mounted on a lightweight eHarness (approx. 3.76 kg). This keeps your board free from extra weight and drag. With the batteries placed on your hips, the natural, fluid feel of foiling is preserved while still giving you full freedom of movement. The eHarness is buoyant and easy to remove. A cable runs neatly along the shorter board leash and connects the batteries to the eMast. The receiver integrated into the battery box ensures a stable and reliable connection between the remote and the motor throughout your entire session.

eRemote Watch Ring Set

The Foil Assist Remote - a waterproof smartwatch-style controller with a finger ring - keeps your hands free, making it easier to push up on the board, paddle, duck dive, carve or handle a wing. Activate the motor with a double-click on the + button, and control the speed by pressing and holding either the + or - button.

Battery Charger Set

The charger can fully charge both batteries in under one hour and also includes a discharge function that helps maintain long-term battery health.

Airtravel-friendly Battery Set

Depending on your skill level, setup and the conditions, the Foil Assist batteries provide 30 to 60 minutes of runtime per charge.
