ION Base RE 5/4 Back Zip Unisex ist die neueste Weiterentwicklung der bewährten ION-Wetsuit-Serie für Verleihe und Wassersportschulen. Der Wetsuit wurde auf Grundlage von mehr als 10 Jahren Feedback und intensiver Nutzung auf dem Wasser verfeinert. Die durchdachte Materialstärke von 5/4 mm sorgt für optimale Wärme bei kühleren Bedingungen und bietet gleichzeitig eine herausragende Haltbarkeit für häufige und anspruchsvolle Nutzung.
Dieses aktualisierte Modell verfügt über deutliche, benutzerfreundliche Verbesserungen, darunter eine klarere Farbcodierung an Armen, Schultern und Innenseite, wodurch Sortierung und Größenerkennung besonders einfach werden. Ein großer Brustaufdruck mit dem Text „Inside Front“ hilft Anfängern dabei, den Wetsuit beim Umziehen immer richtig herum anzuziehen. Technisch wurde der Wetsuit an den am stärksten beanspruchten Stellen mit getapten Nähten verstärkt. Außerdem verfügt er über eine Kombination aus GBS- (Glued Blind Stitched) und Flatlock-Nähten sowie ein neu entwickeltes, im Vergleich zum früheren BASE-Modell flexibleres und robusteres Nylonfutter.
