NEOPRENE GLOVES
Neoprene gloves are the perfect choice for water sports enthusiasts who want to keep warm in the cold months when water temperatures drop below approx. 10 degrees. With a pair of neoprene gloves, you can extend your season warmly and comfortably and enjoy water activities all year round.
Neoprene is a flexible and strong material that is ideal for water sports. It is also durable and hard-wearing, so your neoprene gloves can last for many seasons if you rinse the product after use.
There are many different types of neoprene gloves, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences. From the thin and flexible gloves to the thick and lined gloves, there is a pair of neoprene gloves for every situation.
It is also important to choose neoprene gloves that are designed with a good grip so that you can control your equipment and perform your maneuvers with precision. When you are looking for a pair of neoprene gloves, it is worth choosing a pair with extra rubber coating on the fingertips. This ensures extra grip and control, which benefits you on the water.
If you practice water sports in cold water, it may be a good idea to choose neoprene gloves with a thickness of either 5mm or 7mm. These thicknesses will typically have a lined inside that provides good warmth. That way, you can surf, windsurf, kitesurf or do other water sports without your fingers freezing to ice. Neoprene gloves are therefore a brilliant product that extends your cold sessions!
Regardless of which type of neoprene gloves you choose, it would ideally be best to try them on and check that they fit well and are comfortable to wear. The fit of the gloves will generally vary slightly from brand to brand. When it comes to neoprene gloves, it is fortunately a material that is very flexible. Therefore, it will also be easier to find a glove that fits extremely comfortably. A rule of thumb, however, is that the glove must never pinch your fingertips when you try it on. However, there should preferably be some distance from the fingertips to the edge of the glove. Otherwise, you will find that your fingers cool down faster. On the contrary, there should preferably not be so much space in the glove, as this will cause a lot of water to accumulate inside. A glove that is too loose will therefore cause your fingers/hands to slide around inside the glove. Therefore, aim for a tight fit that at the same time must not pinch the fingertips.
It is also a good idea to check that your neoprene gloves are in good condition and have no damage or leaks before entering the water. As these holes will typically expand if they are not given a layer of preventive neoprene glue. We sell a strong neoprene glue from Black Witch that works well for minor repairs.
