Discount Code & Campaign Terms

Discount codes cannot, as a rule, be used on already reduced goods as well as demo/used equipment. Discount codes received through newsletter cannot be used on Westwind courses/camps as well as gift cards for Westwind Surfshops.

Should you as a customer have questions or problems regarding discount code campaigns do not hesitate to contact us at webshop@westwind.dk.


General Terms

Since many of our products are located in our physical stores, it may happen that an item is not always delivered in its original packaging. However, this has no impact if you wish to return the item.

 

Payment

All amounts set out on the website are listed in Danish kroner (DKK), including VAT and exclusive delivery costs. 

Westwind Surfshop receives online payments with; Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay.

The payment of the order will only be deducted from your account when the item is shipped unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order.

Westwind Surfshop uses a secure payment server that encrypts all information, which means the connection is absolutely secure.

 

Order Cancellation

Unfortunately, we do not offer the option to cancel an order once it has been placed. Our order processing and packing is fast, so we are unable to stop an order once it has been submitted.

That said, you are of course always welcome to contact us if you made a mistake or regret your purchase. We cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to cancel the order, but we will always do our best to find a good solution. We highly value customer service and strive to be both accommodating and solution-oriented.

Naturally, you still have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your item, in accordance with our return policy. Here you can choose to return the item and receive a refund, provided the return conditions are met.

We recommend that you always double-check your order before completing the payment.

 

Uncollected orders

For orders that are not collected or received (including click & collect and shipments returned as “not collected”), we reserve the right to charge a fee of 100 DKK to cover handling, administration and any return shipping costs. The fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

 

Prices

All prices on the webshop are daily prices and may change without notice. The price displayed at the time of ordering is the applicable purchase price that will be charged.

Our crossed-out “compare-at-prices” are based on the recommended retail prices set by our suppliers.

 

Warranty Claims

According to the Danish Purchase Act, 2 years of warranty is granted on products. Complaints apply to errors in material and/or fabrication.

Complaints in case of any defects or defects when delivery from Westwind Surfshops must be invoked in reasonable time after receipt of the item. It is a duty to indicate and on request show how the error or defect expresses. If you discover a mistake, you must contact Westwind Surfshops quickly and not use the item further.. Here, one month is considered a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed.

The complaint does not apply to errors or damage caused by incorrect operation of the product.

Westwind Surfshop covers the return costs to a reasonable extent. We do not receive packages sent on demand.

Information on complaint options

As a starting point, you can only complain about errors that appear within two years after you receive the item. For items with limited shelf life, your complaint is limited by the shelf life that Westwind Surfshops have given you in view.

If you have a complaint and we fail to find a solution together, you will be able to use one of the following options to complain:

  • Center for Complaints, via Complaint Portal v. The House of Commons. Go to Complaint Portal.
  • Center for Complaint Solution, House of Commons, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg.
  • If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, you can state your complaint in the EU Commission's online complaint portal. Go to EU Complaint Portal.

When filing a complaint, you must inform/apply our company email webshop@westwind.dk.


Courses & Camps at Westwind - Rules & Terms

Weather conditions

If there are no waves, there will be teaching in paddle techninks, safety, spot knowledge and power conditions/reef holes. As a participant at our camps, there is the opportunity to convert the time on the water to any of our other activities such as UV hunting, SUP or Windsurf School by capacity.
We make weather forecast live on Facebook twice a week, but unfortunately do not decide over the weather gods yet.

Wave & Weather Policy -Surf begins

We work with weather and wind for our surfing courses. Therefore, the weather determines today's activity.
We do not cancel because of a lack of waves, but instead we take out the surfboards (possibly SUP) and enjoy the quiet North Sea. The quiet North Sea days are used in this case, for practical exercises and basic surf theory.
Should the North Sea there against '' show 'teeth, we allow for safety reasons to restrict the activity of the smaller waves of the water edge.

We work with weather and wind for our SUP courses. Therefore, the weather determines today's activity program.

Closer to the water's edge and spend more time on practical exercises as well as theory and equipment teacher.

Wave & Weather Policy -Windsurf begins

We work with weather and wind for our windsurf courses. Therefore, the weather determines today's activity program. We do not cancel due to lack of wind, but instead use our talented instructors, the time of practical windsurf exercises and basic theory.

  • If you do not attend the course is refunded0%of the booking. - We are planning an employee for your course who will give you the best experiences with us. Therefore, we reserve the right to the full amount of the reservation, otherwise we could not reward our fantastic employees.
