    WINDSURF BOOMS

    Windsurfing is a sport that is all about freedom and adrenaline. It's about feeling the wind in your hair, the water under your feet and the nature around you. But to enjoy this sport, it is important to have the right equipment. One of the most important parts in your windsurf rig is a windsurf boom. Your boom can almost be seen as a kind of steering wheel for your windsurf rig and gives you control over your windsurf setup, and this is crucial for your time on the water.

    Windsurf boom materials

    Our selection of windsurf booms includes different types, including aluminum booms and carbon booms. Each type of boom has different characteristics and advantages, and in the following we will help and guide you to be able to make a decision when it comes to buying a windsurfing boom.

    Aluminum booms are a popular choice for both beginners and experienced windsurfers. These booms are lightweight, durable and priced to fit any budget. They are designed to provide a good balance between stiffness and flexibility. There are ideal for many windsurfing disciplines. Windsurf booms in aluminum can tend to bend and twist over the years, and under particularly hard and prolonged pressure can of course end up breaking.

    Carbon booms are the preferred type of boom for more experienced windsurfers. These booms are made of high quality carbon fiber, which makes them extra light and stiff. This makes them ideal for higher speeds and more demanding windsurfing. The carbon booms are also designed to absorb shock and reduce vibration, making them more comfortable to use for longer periods of time.     Windsurf boom sizes

Our booms are available in lengths from 130 cm to 270 cm and come in different diameters. That way, there should probably be a boom that suits you and your sail(s). Always check on the sail which boom size is recommended for you to use, as well as how the boom should be adjusted to give the best sail profile.
