(10 products)

If your board is to be safely transported to and from the beach, you must have a board bag! It makes a lot of sense in terms of protecting your board from the sun's harmful rays, dings and other small blemishes. Transport on land is therefore the surfboard's worst enemy and therefore we strongly recommend that you invest in a board bag. We sell cool board bags and board socks in many sizes and fits from recognized surf accessory manufacturers.

BOARDBAGS - EASY TRANSPORT & STORAGE

A surfboard can quickly become your favorite possession. At the same time, every surfer knows that surfboards are to a great extent exposed to various small scrapes, scratches and dings. Especially when the board has to be transported to and from the beach, up and in the water and in many other situations. Prevention of these unpleasant situations can be done by investing in a board bag for your loved one. At Westwind, we sell a wide range of boardbags in several different sizes. We primarily sell boardbags from the renowned surf accessory manufacturer Creatures.

Surfboard bags - single, double, triple or quad

Boardbags come for a wide range of different board types. Under this category, you will find boardbags, which have been created to be able to store surfboards in all shades. That is everything from shortboards to longboards. At the same time, boardbags are available in sizes that can hold anything from one to four boards. This is called a single, double, triple or quad boardbag respectively. Whether you should have one or the other size and model is largely about, of course, how many boards you have, as well as how much you travel with your surfboards. If you are a weekend warrior who just goes for a short trip to the sea a handful of times a month, a single board bag in the day bag category will be an obvious choice. These day bags are termed by Creatures as day use bags. Look for them if you want a practical bag at an affordable price.

Are you up for longer adventures with your boards. Here we are talking foreign trips, longer road trips, etc. is it a good idea to look for a solid travel bag. Double boardbags and above will in almost all cases be padded to a degree so that you can safely send your boards on board a plane. The larger bags will typically also be equipped with separate pockets for various surfboard accessories such as leashes and fins.

A good tip for those of you who travel a lot is to combine a board bag with a board sock. The combination creates extra protection during transport. In addition, it also makes good sense to have a board sock with you on the trip, as the board sock can act as a good temporary protection for the board.
