Wing course

Exciting new way to get on the water!

What to expect from a Wing course at WestWind

  • Duration

Wing courses last 2-6 hours and can be one-day or multi-day courses. Meet up in the surf school 20 minutes before the course starts for check-in. At the start of the course, it stands on dressing and delivery/intro of equipment. Keep the courses require at least 2 participants; At only 1 participant it runs as a private hour.

  • Weather conditions

Weather conditions for wingsurfing or wingfoiling are generally perfect for beginners. In the summer we often experience good wind conditions in our area at Ringkøbing Fjord. Our instructors ensure that the students are dressed for today's weather. Security measures are thoroughly reviewed on land before going on the water.

  • Water time

After dressing, the course begins on land, where the instructor provides security instructions, conveys theory and performs a slight warming before embarking on the water. Expect a duration of water between 2-5 hours, depending on the course type.

  • Rebooking & Cancellation

You can always rebook the date and time of your course for free up to 2 weeks before the start date.
If you cancel one month before the start of the course, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded. If canceled 2 weeks before refunding 50% of the amount. So we recommend that you rebook or cancel well in advance if your plans change.
