Duration

4 exciting and awesome windsurfing days at Denmark’s most versatile surf spot! Ringkøbing Fjord is Denmark’s windsurfing mecca, and Bork Havn is perfectly located at the southern end of the fjord!

What to bring

We recommend that you bring your own windsurfing gear to make the most of your time on the water. Additionally, you’ll need to bring your own tent and sleeping gear, as we’ll be camping on the grass area right by the shop – it’s going to be cozy and right by both the fjord!

Age limit

The camp is for those between 12–18 years old who are looking for action, water, and wind! Whether you’re a beginner or have tried it before, there’s a spot for you – we provide great gear, awesome experiences, and plenty of fun on land and water.

THE MOST FUN JUNIOR WINDSURF CAMP OF THE SUMMER!

For ages 12–18!

In the first week of summer holiday, the Young Gun Camp kicks off again! This camp is a long-standing classic in the windsurfing world, and many great friendships have started right here! For four action-packed days, we windsurf until the sun sets over the fjord. We geek out over gear, make bonfires on the beach, play games, and laugh out loud. Sounds like something for you? It’s truly a wonderful surf experience! We work hard to create a fun and inclusive community where everyone feels welcome. That’s what makes the camp so special – and gives you a windsurf network to bring back home.

FAQ

Can I join if I’ve never tried windsurfing before?
We recommend that you’ve tried windsurfing before joining YGC. We spend many hours on the water every day, so it’s good to know if it’s something you enjoy. However, you don’t need your own equipment or know how to jibe like a pro.

How does accommodation work?
We set up a tent camp on the green area at Bryggen 10. You’ll need to bring your own tent and sleeping gear. If you want to share a tent with friends, you can plan that yourselves.

Are there always adults present?
There are always instructors present at YGC. We love the vibe of this camp, so we’re part of the community from start to finish. We also sleep at the campsite with the participants.

This is Young Gun Camp ☀️ The most fun windsurf camp of the summer for young people aged 12 to 18! It’s all about surfing, friendship, and unforgettable moments on the fjord. What is included?

  • Stoked Instructor Team

    At our camps, you’ll be taught by passionate instructors who live for water, wind, and community. They meet you at eye level and help you gain confidence on the board. Our team creates a safe, motivating, and relaxed atmosphere with room for mistakes, laughter, and progress – no matter your level!

  • Wetsuit

    Included is a neoprene wetsuit from either Rip Curl or C-Skins. The suit is 5 mm thick a great all-round thickness for most conditions. We have a wide range of sizes, and together with your instructor, you’ll find the wetsuit that fits you best.

  • Swim vest

    CE Approved Swim West from Helly Hansen. 50n buoyancy and thus perfect safety measure for beginners on the water.

  • Healthy meals

    Healthy and nutritious food is included in the camp. We provide meals that will give you energy for an active day on the water – made with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor.

  • Windsurf beginner equipment

    On the course you will have access to a stable beginner board and a easily manageable sail. The equipment is carefully selected to make it easy and safe for you to get started with windsurfing.
