The Foil Cruise Set AL includes the following parts:

eMast AL Set

Made from lightweight aluminium and measuring 84 cm in length, the eMast AL is incredibly stiff and provides a direct feel.

The motor unit is fully integrated into the mast and positioned just behind the leading edge, 17 cm below the top plate, to reduce drag even during landing. It features a two-blade folding propeller that reduces resistance and offers a smooth gliding experience on the wave. Thanks to the integrated gear system, the propeller instantly unfolds, ensuring a smooth transition when you kick out of the wave and pick up speed again. Comes with a propeller guard for extra safety.

The eMast mounts to your board the same way as a regular foil mast.

Note: A fuselage adapter is required to attach a fuselage to the eMast. Besides the Duotone adapter, Duotone offers ten other options so you can combine Foil Assist with your existing foil setup. The adapter is not included and must be purchased separately.

Tip: For optimal battery performance, pair the eMast with a front wing of at least 900 cm² and a board with a minimum volume of 35 L.

eHarness Set

Foil Assist is powered by two compact batteries housed in a waterproof case mounted on a lightweight eHarness (approx. 3.76 kg). This keeps the board free from extra weight and drag. With the batteries positioned on your hips, the natural and fluid feeling of foiling is preserved while giving you full freedom of movement. The eHarness is buoyant and easy to remove. A cable runs neatly along the short board leash, connecting the batteries to the eMast. The receiver integrated into the battery case ensures a stable and reliable connection between the remote control and the motor throughout the session.

eRemote Watch Ring Set

Foil Assist Remote – a waterproof, smartwatch-like controller with a finger ring – keeps your hands free, making it easier to pop up on the board, paddle, duck dive, carve, or handle a wing. Activate the motor with a double click on the + button, and control the speed by holding down the + or - button.

Battery Charger Set

The charger can fully charge both batteries in under an hour and also has a discharge function that helps maintain the battery’s long-term health.

Flight-Friendly Battery Set

Depending on your level, setup, and conditions, the Foil Assist batteries provide 30 to 60 minutes of run time per charge. Plus, they are made in a size that allows you to bring them on flights!
