The technology behind it lies in the details: The mast is made of 100% T900 carbon with Duotone's exclusive SENTEX resin, making it exceptionally light and durable, while the revolutionary D4 SHIELD protection is integrated into the lower part of the mast. The current model features an optimised bend curve and improved reflex dynamics - without extra weight. Thanks to modified geometry with a slightly increased diameter, you get better flex values and a more robust construction that can withstand heavy use.     Maintaining your carbon mast

    Rinse the mast thoroughly with fresh water after every session in salt water, and let it dry completely before storing it away. Avoid point loads - never lean the mast against sharp edges or let it fall onto a hard surface, as this is carbon's biggest enemy. Always use the padded mast bag provided for transport and storage to protect the mast from impacts and scratches.

    Avoid storing the mast rigged in the sail for extended periods, and do not leave it in direct sunlight or in a hot car, as prolonged heat can damage the carbon and resin. Regularly inspect the mast for cracks, dents or delamination - especially after hard landings - and never use a damaged carbon mast, as it can break suddenly under load. Store the mast lying flat and horizontally in a dry, cool place when the season is over.
