For SS24, we have improved the SUPER_HERO to boost performance in every condition. With the SIZE SPECIFIC DRAFT POSITION, sails sized 5.0 and up have a slightly higher draft position to help with earlier planing and a lighter feel. Meanwhile, the smaller sizes keep the lower, more central draft position to give maximum control. This is why the SUPER_HERO remains THE top World Cup Wave sail, always working perfectly in all wave conditions worldwide.

The SUPER_HERO keeps riding very smoothly, is as responsive as a 3-batten sail in float and ride conditions yet has real grip at the crucial moment. The SUPER_HERO is direct when pumping, planes early, builds real drive on the wave, is steady, and offers this special balance for superior control thanks to its SIZE SPECIFIC DRAFT POSITION.

We have kept following our LIGHT DONE RIGHT CONSTRUCTION, which in 2022 saw a changed panel layout, reinforcement patches with strong, high-modulus fibres “Made in Germany” and a new mast sleeve design. Designer Kai Hopf achieved a weight drop of a clearly noticeable 200 to 300g! Unlike other brands, the thickness of the fabric and film used was not reduced, so the well-known toughness of the SUPER_HERO is fully kept! That’s exactly why we call it LIGHT DONE RIGHT CONSTRUCTION.

Every single size of the SUPER_HERO is perfectly tuned and refined down to the last detail. The batten rotation stays smooth as silk even with minimal clew tension and the top works very actively, absorbs strong gusts, and supports acceleration. So, you can confidently choose to ride a smaller size than many other wave sails.
