FUTURES Thruster Fin Set 3/2 Blackstix+

The Vector 3/2 Blackstix+ is the next evolution of Futures Fins' high performance fin technology and goes beyond the previous Vector 3/2 in Alpha construction. Unlike traditional Blackstix, the Blackstix+ features a stiffer construction that ensures the Vector 3/2 fins fully engage throughout the turn. This increased stiffness and resonance improves drive, grip and rebound, providing more control and power without compromising the smooth transition from rail to rail. The result is a fin that delivers a precise yet responsive, lively feel, making it ideal for surfers looking to improve their performance in a variety of conditions.
WHAT IS A VECTOR FOIL?
It's a proprietary futures foilwith a concave surface on the inside of the front fins that increases surface area, water lift and buoyancy.
WHAT IS A 3/2?
3/2 complements the Vector with an additional 3 degrees of rake and 2 degrees of toe angle and introduces foil twist to improve planing angles in sharp turns and create more lift and hold in maneuvers.
PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES OF THE VECTOR 3/2
The Vector 3/2 is a speed generating fin that maximizes water lift across multiple planing surfaces, resulting in lift and reduced drag. The concave surface and twist in the top half provide a unique grip and projection feel, resulting in fluid speed generation in smaller waves and a powerful connection and increased speed in larger waves, leading to faster and improved turns.

ADVANTAGES OF THE SCIMITAR TIP
Originally developed in 2006, the Scimitar Tip is a flattened edge at the back end of the fin that tightens the turn arc by shortening the template length. This complements the lift and speed design of the 3/2 foil, improving the feel when exiting turns while maximizing foil characteristics across the entire template of the fin.
