ION Roof Rack Pads 40cm

Care for ION Roof Rack Pads

• Cleaning: Wipe the pads with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Rinse them with fresh water if they have been exposed to salt water or dirt.
• Washing: Machine washing and tumble drying are not recommended, as they can damage the silicone print and material. Always clean them by hand instead.
• Drying: Let the pads air-dry completely before putting them away. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for long periods, and place them on a heat source such as a radiator.
• Storage: Store the pads in a dry, well-ventilated place when not in use - preferably in the garage, car, or a storage space without moisture.
• General: Check the silicone print and seams regularly for wear to make sure the pads always sit securely on the roof bar.

How many pads come in the pack?

The pack includes 2, so you can protect both roof bars right away.

Do ION Roof Rack Pads fit my roof rack?

Yes - the pads are designed to fit almost all roof bar profiles on the market and are quick to install without tools.

How do the pads protect my board during transport?

The 40 cm-long pads provide a soft, protective surface between the board and the bar, reducing the risk of damage and impacts on the road.

Why should I choose 40 cm pads instead of longer ones?

The short design is ideal when you only need to transport one board at a time - compact, lightweight, and easy to handle.

What are they made of?

The exterior is made of durable, abrasion-resistant 600D polyester that withstands harsh weather and heavy use.

How do the pads stay in place on the bar?

A non-slip silicone print on the inside of the edge ensures the pads stay securely in place and don't slide while driving.

How do I clean and store the pads?

Wipe them with a damp cloth and mild soap, rinse with fresh water after use in salt water, and let them air-dry completely before storing them in a dry, well-ventilated place.
