Duration

The WestWind Freeride Camp takes place from June 13–15, 2025. It’s an intensive weekend camp for those who want to spend as much time on the water as possible. We meet on Friday at 3:00 PM in the parking lot and go for a sail if the wind allows. The camp wraps up on Sunday at 3:00 PM after a weekend filled with plenty of sailing hours, technique training, dry lessons, and fun.

What to bring

You should bring your own equipment – we will rig up together based on your gear to get the most out of it. Alternatively, you can rent high-quality freeride equipment at WestWind Bork Havn. Contact the store if you wish to rent equipment for the camp.

Description

Freeride Camp – for you who want to boost your windsurfing skills!

The camp is for you who can sail with footstraps and harness and want to get even better on the water.

We have one goal: as much time on the water as possible! We teach when the wind blows – and when the wind fails (or your arms are tired), we do dry lessons. If it first blows Saturday evening at 9 PM, then we go on the water then. If it’s calm, the program is shortened, and we may find other fun activities.

  • Teaching starts Friday at 3 PM (many are on the water before then).
  • Meals included: Dinner Friday and Saturday as well as breakfast and lunch Saturday and Sunday.
  • Overnight stay: You arrange yourself – but we’re happy to help you find something.
  • Equipment: Bring your own gear – we help you rig it optimally. You can also rent top-class freeride gear at WestWind. Contact the shop if you want to rent.

The instructor is the experienced teacher and slalom sailor Søren Christensen.

☀️ Date: Weekend of June 12–14, 2026
