The surf paradise at the bottom of Ringkøbing Fjord

WestWind Bork Havn is located close to the Danish west coast, at the bottom of Ringkøbing Fjord. One of the most amazing things at Bork Havn is that it's a true flat water paradise - in combination with almost no waves is ideal for beginners in all water sports.

If you are a freestyler or freerider, you can hardly want a better training place either. We have perfect spots in all wind directions within 30 minutes drive.

WestWind offers water sports and courses with good facilities for the whole family. We offer courses in windsurfing, kite surfing, wave surfing, SUP, kayak and catamaran. We have both good deals for each tourist and children, as well as larger groups with staff excursions or team building.

With under 30 min. driving we have Nymindegab and in Hvide Sande. Here you can explore the North Sea coast and enjoy really fine beginner conditions for wave surfing.
On the windy days we have the cable park, where the rental of water ski and wakeboard is offered. All this a stone's throw from the water's edge of Ringkøbing Fjord ...

We offer teaching, courses and rental for all levels in Wing, Windsurfing, KiteSurfing SUP, Kayak and Sailing. With our experienced instructors you get a fun and educational experience on the water, whether you are beginning or wanting to improve your skills. Our courses combine practical training with security and theory so that you feel safe and comfortable on the fjord.

    Do you hate rigging the equipment up in sand? Do not fear! The area around the WestWind Surf Center is for the first few meters from the water's edge and secondly you will also find fine rigging options on large grasslands. Here your equipment will surely love to be rigged! 🙏

    At our surf centers along Ringkøbing Fjord, even the youngest can safely swim without the risk of strong currents like in the North Sea. The beach is the perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy the day.

  • Cable Park

    Right near the WestWind Surf Center is Denmark's first and largest cable park. Here you can try everything from water skiing to the more extreme wakeboarding. Super alternative to the windy days. Unfortunately, there are some of them - even on the west coast 😉
