Included

This course includes our beginner windsurf equipment including a beginner windsurf rich (sail, boom, mast) as well as a beginner windsurf board. In addition, a wetsuit, swimming vest and instructor are of course also included. For a more detailed description, see the overview below.

Duration

The teaching duration of our windsurf intro course is 1 day where you get 3 hours of intensive and fun teaching. The course is organized so that you get a basic introduction to windsurfing, including security, balance and the first techniques on the water. The 3 hours give you a good sense of the sport and a solid start to your windsurfing journey.

What to bring

For the course we recommend that you bring swimwear, towel, easy change of clothes, sunscreen and preferably a pair of neoprene shoes or boots.

Age limit

We have an age limit of 9 years* for this windsurfing course. This limit is set because the equipment is designed to care for people with a certain height and strength that are typically achieved in this age group. For younger children it can be challenging to handle the equipment efficiently and securely. The age limit helps ensure a positive, fun and safe experience for all participants.

*Younger children can potentially attend the course on request.

Description

If you want to try windsurfing, the introductory course is a good start where you get a basic introduction to the sport. The intro course is built up as the first 3 hours of the beginner's course and allows you to try windsurfing in a safe environment. Here you will learn the most important basic skills so that you can get a feel for the sport and the equipment. If you subsequently wish to continue and complete the entire beginner course, we will offset the amount paid from the intro course in the price of the beginner course so that you can easily take the next step in your windsurfing journey.

What is included?

  • Windsurf beginner equipment

    On the course you will have access to a stable beginner board and a easily manageable sail. The equipment is carefully selected to make it easy and safe for you to get started with windsurfing.

  • Wetsuit

    Included is a neoprene wetsuit from either Rip Curl or C-Skins. The suit is 5 mm thick a great all-round thickness for most conditions. We have a wide range of sizes, and together with your instructor, you’ll find the wetsuit that fits you best.

  • Swim vest

    CE Approved Swim West from Helly Hansen. 50n buoyancy and thus perfect safety measure for beginners on the water.

  • Windsurf instructor

    At our windsurfing courses you are guaranteed teaching from talented and stoked instructors who are passionate about water sports. Our instructors are not only experts in their field, but also dedicated to learning at eye level. They ensure that your learning happens in a motivating and safe environment.
