WestWind Nord - Hvide Sande is located on the Danish west coast, in the small West Jutland holiday town of Hvide Sande. On one side of the city lies the North Sea with its beautiful wide sandy beaches, on the other side Ringkøbing Fjord - ideal for beginners with low and flat water. We have perfect spots for wing, kite, SUP, windsurfing and surfing.

The short distance between the flat fjord water and the harsh waves in the North Sea makes Hvide Sande a unique water sports paradise surrounded by Denmark's most beautiful coastal nature.

WestWind offers water sports and delicious facilities for the whole family. Rental and courses in windsurfing, kite surfing, wave surfing and SUP. We have great deals for each tourist, children, larger groups or as a team building for businesses. If you want to start kite surfing yourself, or do you want to lure your friends/collages on a kite surfing course, then we have the right course. Whether you are a beginner or expert, you will find challenging activities with us!

As the nearest neighbor of the surf shop is Hvide Sande Kabelpark, where the rental of water ski and wakeboard is offered.

  • Ideal Bathing Water

    At our surf centers along Ringkøbing Fjord, even the youngest can safely swim without the risk of strong currents like in the North Sea. The beach is the perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy the day.

  • Cable Park

    Right near the WestWind Surf Center is Denmark's first and largest cable park. Here you can try everything from water skiing to the more extreme wakeboarding. Super alternative to the windy days. Unfortunately, there are some of them - even on the west coast 😉
