Duotone Traction Pad SLS Front 2025 is the front traction pad for riders who ride waves or strapless freestyle and want maximum control underfoot. The pad has been updated with a thickness of 4 mm, providing improved grip and better feedback from the board. With its SLS construction – Strong Light Superior – you get strong equipment without unnecessary weight, so you can go all in on your biggest moves.

Six separate pieces give you the freedom to position your grip exactly as your riding style requires – whether you prefer a classic front pad setup or a more personalized layout. The pads are fitted with a self-adhesive backing, making installation simple and durable. If you ride with straps, the pad is also fully compatible with Duotone's new Insert Pads, so you can easily switch between strapless and strap setups.

    Caring for your Duotone Traction Pad SLS Front

    Installation: Clean the board surface thoroughly with fresh water and let it dry completely before installing the pads. Press each pad down firmly with even pressure for about 30 seconds for optimal adhesion.

    Cleaning after use: Rinse the pads with fresh water after your session to remove salt, sand, and dirt. If needed, use mild soap and a soft cloth - avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, and stiff brushes, as they can damage the surface and adhesive.

    Drying: Let the pads air-dry in a shaded place. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and artificial heat sources such as hair dryers or radiators, as they can degrade the material.

    Storage: Store the pads flat, clean, and completely dry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not store them rolled up or under heavy objects, as this can leave permanent marks in the material. Follow this advice to keep your traction pad grippy and secure through many sessions.
