ION Base RE 5/4 Back Zip Unisex is the latest evolution of ION’s well-known wetsuit series for rental operations and watersports schools. The wetsuit has been refined based on more than 10 years of feedback and intensive use on the water. With its well-designed 5/4 mm thickness, it provides optimal warmth in cooler conditions while delivering exceptional durability for frequent and demanding use.
This updated model features significant user-friendly upgrades, including clearer colour coding on the arms, shoulders and inside, making sorting and size identification incredibly easy. A large chest print reading "Inside Front" helps beginners always orient the wetsuit correctly when changing. Technically, the wetsuit has been reinforced with taped seams in the most exposed areas, a combination of GBS (Glued Blind Stitched) and Flatlock seams, as well as a newly developed, more flexible and durable nylon lining compared with the previous BASE model.
- Improved Visual Guidance: Extended colour coding on the arms, shoulders and inside makes it quick and easy to organise and find the right size.
- Easy Beginner Design: A large "Inside Front" print on the chest ensures that the wetsuit is put on correctly the first time.
