Maintaining the ION Windsurf Nose Bumper

The Nose Bumper requires minimal maintenance. Rinse it with fresh water after use in salt water and wipe it with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners, solvents, and spraying the material directly with a pressure washer, as this can damage the foil and adhesive.

Let the protection air-dry at room temperature - don’t put it on a radiator or leave it in direct sunlight for long periods. Store your board with the bumper attached in a cool, dry place, away from strong sunlight and heat sources. Regularly check that the edges are firmly attached, and reapply adhesive if an edge has lifted. If you remove the bumper, gently roll any adhesive residue off the board’s surface before applying a new one.
