Duration

The camp takes place: August 15–16th, 2026. It’s a weekend camp with arrival on Friday at 5:00 PM and wrap-up on Sunday at 2:00 PM.

What to bring

Warm clothes, a water bottle, and neoprene shoes. If you have your own wetsuit, feel free to bring it along as well.

Age limit

The camp is for you between 8–11 years old who want action, water and wind!
Whether you're a beginner or have tried it before, there's room for you - we provide good gear, great experiences and lots of fun on land and water.

Description

For water-loving kids between 8-11 years old!

At Kiddy Camp, we take care of the youngest surfers! Here, learning to surf should be fun! With the West Coast’s coolest (water) playground, the little water dogs can safely and confidently start their surfing adventure. Our experience is that “play and learn” works. A great community is created from the start of the camp through games on land, and fun learning on the water is ensured by experienced instructors with a child-friendly teaching style. In this great community, the kids inspire each other and often become braver and more curious about surfing. There will be both wave surfing in the North Sea and windsurfing on Ringkøbing Fjord. A surf weekend that’s super cozy for both kids and parents!

FAQ

Can I join Kiddy Camp without my parents?
Kiddy Camp is a weekend camp for children aged 8–11, and because the kids are still quite young, we expect a parent to be present throughout the weekend – unless otherwise agreed. We don’t expect parents to participate in the water activities.

Is accommodation not included?
No – during Kiddy Camp, you stay and sleep with your parents.

Can I participate if I’ve never tried surfing/windsurfing before?
Yes, you can! We’ll make sure you’re well taken care of and help you get started with water sports. The only important thing is that you love the water.

What is included?

  • Stoked Instructor Team

    At our camps, you’ll be taught by passionate instructors who live for water, wind, and community. They meet you at eye level and help you gain confidence on the board. Our team creates a safe, motivating, and relaxed atmosphere with room for mistakes, laughter, and progress – no matter your level!

  • Wetsuit

    Included is a neoprene wetsuit from either Rip Curl or C-Skins. The suit is 5 mm thick a great all-round thickness for most conditions. We have a wide range of sizes, and together with your instructor, you’ll find the wetsuit that fits you best.

  • Swim vest

    CE Approved Swim West from Helly Hansen. 50n buoyancy and thus perfect safety measure for beginners on the water.

  • Healthy meals

    Healthy and nutritious food is included in the camp. We provide meals that will give you energy for an active day on the water – made with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor.

  • Windsurf beginner equipment

    On the course you will have access to a stable beginner board and a easily manageable sail. The equipment is carefully selected to make it easy and safe for you to get started with windsurfing.
