The PG-R is a groveller that offers high performance, even in average waves.
For this Torq model, the DNA of the Comp was combined with that of the Summer 5 to create a board with which you can get a lot of waves and generate high speed, even in weaker conditions.
At the same time, it still allows for tight turns and vertical surfing.
The PG-R has a low-entry rocker and offers ideal planing characteristics thanks to its wide front section with a concave, so that high speeds can be achieved even in medium waves.
From the center to the tail, the outline runs into a classic shortboard squashtail. The sinlge-to-double underwater hull and vee in the fin area allows easy rail-to-rail transitions.
The result is a fast accelerating board that transfers the generated speed perfectly into radical turns and airtime.
With the 5 futures fin boxes it can be surfed as a quad or thruster.

Control - Flex - Response
In the TORQ Epoxy Composite production, one layer each of 6oz and 4oz fiberglass as well as carbon reinforcements (in the tail and as stringers) are processed. The underside is also reinforced with carbon in the tail area and also has a carbon strip that extends over the entire length, giving the board controlled flex and lively response.

The computer-controlled production of the blanks results in significantly less waste. No MDI and TDI. Far more environmentally friendly than conventional polyurethane blanks.
STABILITY AND LIGHTNESS
6oz and 4oz fiberglass as well as a 6oz deck patch provide more stability at a lower weight than conventional polyester boards.
CARBON FIBERS:
Stronger - livelier
Provide the board with higher stretchability than fiberglass. More lively in the maneuvers plus stronger in the stressed region such as over the fins.
EPOXY RESIN:
Stiffer - More environmentally friendly
Less release of toxic VOCs during curing. Stronger than polyester resin. No excess/waste during processing.
