What to expect from a course at WestWind

  • Duration

    Course sessions last from anything between 3-9 hours and can be one-day or multi-day courses. As a starting point, you must attend the surf school 20 minutes before the start of the course for check -in. At Kurus Start, it stands on dressing and delivery/intro of equipment.

  • Weather conditions

    The weather conditions in our area are ideal for beginners. In the summer we often have good wind conditions at Ringkøbing Fjord and waves and swells in the North Sea. Our instructors adapt the teaching to today's weather and always undergo security measures on land before we go on the water.

  • Water time

    After dressing, all courses start on land with security instructions, theory and a short warming. Our instructors make sure you are dressed for today's relationship before we go on the water. We spend 1-7 hours on the water, depending on the course type and weather conditions.

  • Rebooking & Cancellation

    You can always reboo the date and time of your course for free up to 2 weeks before the start date. If you cancel one month before the start of the course, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded. If canceled 2 weeks before refunding 50% of the amount. So we recommend that Omboke well in advance if your plans change.

What should I bring to the course? 🩳🩱

You need to bring swimwear, towel, sunscreen and a water bottle. Unless otherwise described in Course, we provide all the necessary equipment.

Is it necessary to have experience with water sports to participate? 🏄

No, our courses are open to both beginners and experienced. We adapt the teaching to your experience level.

How can I book a course at WestWind? 🗓️
