Included

This course includes all the necessary equipment for kite surfing, including a kite, kite bar, twintip kiteboard, trapeze, helmet and impact vest. In addition, you will be taught an experienced instructor as well as access to our exclusive online preparation course with tips and hacks for kite surfing.

Duration

The duration of teaching for our kite surf Intro course is 1 day, where you get 1 hour theory and 3 hours on the water. The course is organized so that in a short time you get a basic introduction to kite surfing. We focus primarily on teaching you how to handle and fly the kit safely in the water so you get a good sense of the sport. The 4 hours of teaching, combined with our 1-2 hour online preparation course, gives you a solid start to your kite surfing journey and helps you find out if the sport is for you.

What to bring

For the course we recommend that you bring swimwear, towel, easy change of clothes, sunscreen and preferably a pair of neoprene shoes or boots.

Age limit

We have an age limit of 15 years* for this kite surfing courses. This limit is set because the equipment requires a certain height, weight and strength, which is typically achieved in this age group. For younger participants it can be challenging to handle the kit safely and efficiently, which is crucial to a good and safe experience. The age limit therefore helps to ensure that all participants get the most out of the course.

Description

Do you dream of trying your hand at one of the coolest water sports? Our Kitesurf Discovery course gives you a solid introduction to the sport with 1 hour of theory and 3 exciting hours on the water. Here you will learn the basic principles of kitesurfing, with a focus on flying the kite in the water. The course is designed to give you a taste of the sport, so you can find out if kitesurfing is something for you.

The lessons are taught in groups with a maximum of 4 students per instructor to ensure personal guidance. Two students share a kite, which allows for both learning by doing and by observing.

 

What do you get?

• In addition to the 4-hour course, after you have booked, you will receive a 1-2 hour online preparation course with tips and kitesurfing hacks, so that you are well prepared for the course day itself.

• Teaching by experienced instructors in Danish, English or German. Please note that group courses are most often conducted in English.

• A course adapted to the weather conditions, so you get the best experience. If the weather does not allow training on the water, this will be replaced with 2 hours of theory on land, and the rest of the course fee will be refunded.

 

Important details:

This discovery course does not qualify you as an independent kitesurfer, but gives you a basic insight into the sport. If you want to take your kitesurfing further, you can always upgrade to our beginner course.

  • KiteSurf equipment

    On the course you will have access to all the necessary equipment for kite surfing, including a kite, kite bar, twintip kiteboard, trapezoid, helmet and impact vest. All equipment is carefully selected to make sure you get a safe and good start to your kite surfing experience.

  • Wetsuit

    The course includes a neoprene wetsuit from the brand RIP Curl or C-Skins. The suit is 5mm thick, which is a good all-round thickness. We have many different sizes and you will together with the instructor find the suit that fits the best possible on you.

  • Kitesurf instructor

    At our kite surfing courses you are guaranteed teaching from talented and passionate instructors who are passionate about kite surfing. Our instructors are not only experts in the sport, but also dedicated to teaching in a way that is easily understandable and at eye level. They make sure your learning happens in a safe and inspiring environment where you can develop and make the most of your kite surfing experience.

  • Impact West

    An impact vest is included as an important part of the security equipment on this course. The vest gives you extra protection against shocks and strokes while helping you feel more comfortable on the water. It is designed to provide optimal freedom of movement. Security is always our first priority and the impact vest is a central part of this.
